“Francesco Acerbi, who arrived at the training camp in Rome this morning, explained to the coach, Luciano Spalletti, and his teammates, his version of the alleged racist behavior reported by Juan Jesus in the Inter vs Napoli match, as required by the Italian National Team policy.” wrote the FIGC statement.

“From the Nerazzurri defender’s report, while waiting for what actually happened in accordance with the autonomy of sports justice, it was revealed that there was no intention to slander, demean or be racist on his part.”

“However, it was agreed that Unripe had to be left out of the squad for the two friendlies scheduled in the United States, in order to resolve matters for the national team and the player himself, who will return to the club today. “As a result, Roma defender Gianluca Mancini, who was already on the reserve squad list, was called up,” explained FIGC.

Inter itself has responded to FIGC’s statement. The club will summon Acerbi to investigate internally.

“FC Internazionale Milano takes note of the official statement issued by the FIGC, regarding the incident involving Francesco Acerbi in the match against Napoli last night, and the fact that the FIGC and Acerbi have agreed that the player will not be involved in the next two international matches of the national team, which are scheduled in United States,” wrote Inter’s statement.

“FC Internazionale Milano will meet with the player as soon as possible to explain the exact details of what happened last night,” explained Inter.

Juan Jesus reported this alleged racist report to the referee in the Inter Milan vs Napoli match. The Brazilian defender was caught on camera reporting that Acerbi had mocked his skin color.

Juan Jesus should have forgiven Acerbi. The Italian defender is said to have immediately apologized to him after the match.

“What happened on the pitch, stays there. He apologized and we can forget about it. When the referee blew the whistle, it was all over,” said Juan Jesus.

“I know Unripe a good player, and he apologized because he realized he was a little out of line with his words. “He’s a smart player, so I hope he can learn from this and not do it again,” said John Jesusthe 32 year old defender.
