Internacional and Caxias face each other this Saturday, at 4:30 pm (Brasília time), in the fifth round of Gauchão. The duel will be in Beira-Rio, which for the first time in the competition will receive an audience. After all, Inter played at home behind closed doors because of fights in the semi-final of the 2023 State Championship, exactly against Caxias (who eliminated Colorado and reached the final with Gaúcho).
Inter is second, with seven points. They lost the lead in the last round when they fell to Guarany. Caxias, who beat Grêmio in their debut and then fell apart, is in fifth place, with five points.
