Madeleine McCann is still missing. The responsible investigators hope to find new clues in the car of a suspect in the Maddie case.
Kassel – 17 years ago, the then three-year-old Madeleine McCann disappeared from a Portuguese holiday resort. A previously convicted sex offender is said to have kidnapped her at the time – Christian B. is currently in court.

The German Christian B. currently has to answer in court for three cases of rape and two cases of child abuse. Christian B. has also been suspected for several years, in 2007 kidnapped three-year-old Maddie McCann and of having killed, although no body was ever found. The vehicle is a white Mercedes Sprinter that is said to have parked in Christian B.’s hiding place shortly after Maddie disappeared. The car is being examined by the German Federal Police BKA. They are hoping for clues about Maddie’s disappearance, ideally even for DNA traces in the car. A workshop had rented the vehicle to the German at the time: “We cleaned and repaired it, but that wouldn’t have destroyed all the DNA,” he quoted thesun.co.uk the workshop.
Trial against Christian B. continues – Maddie McCann not part of the trial
The transporter should from the suspect Christian B. in another kidnapping case also been used. In 2015, Inga Gehricke, then five years old, disappeared during a family picnic in Saxony-Anhalt.
