Since the seventh round of U.S.-Iran resumption negotiations on November 29, Bagheri and representatives from China, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the European Union and other related parties have aimed at lifting sanctions against Iran and urging Iran to fulfill its nuclear agreement commitments. Wait for the issue to start negotiations to resume compliance with the nuclear agreement as soon as possible. The new round of negotiations will complete the first phase of the talks on December 3, and the second phase of the talks will begin on December 9 and end on the 17th.
Bagheri said that considering the fact that the new Iranian government has just come to power and the Iranian negotiating delegation has just been formed, based on the recommendations and consensus reached in the previous six rounds of negotiations, the Iranian delegation will bring the new government’s views and positions into the seventh round of negotiations. China, and submitted two new draft documents to other relevant parties as the basis for this round of negotiations. One is about lifting sanctions on Iran and the other is about Iran’s nuclear activities. The two draft documents are different from those reached during the sixth round of talks in June this year. Bagheri said that although facing opposition from European parties, the Iranian delegation did not give up its position. Instead, in the past week, it has conducted multiple levels and in-depth negotiations with other related parties until Europe is concerned.
