An Italian tourist died in Colombia of injuries sustained following a shark attack. The incident took place in the Colombian archipelago of San Andrés, in the Caribbean Sea. The local authorities and media report it. Antonio Straccialini, 56, was swimming near a cliff not very frequented by swimmers when he was suddenly bitten by the animal.
The man had dived from a little-used reef due to the presence of sharks. Some people, attracted by the screams, ran and managed to retrieve it after he had struggled to reach the rocks.
