Concert in the Hallenstadion: J Balvin shows nipples in Zurich and the fans go crazy
The Colombian superstar made the Zurich Hallenstadion dance – and later, surprisingly, the Kaufleuten club too.

The lights go out, the crowd screams. The Colombian with the sunglasses rises, the audience screams. And when the first note of J Balvin’s mega hit “Mi Gente” sounds, the hips in the audience begin to move. The song has been played 1.5 billion times on Spotify, and on Tuesday evening in Zurich’s Hallenstadion everyone knew the lyrics from the bottom of their hearts. Nobody would have needed the note at the beginning of the show on the screen, but to be on the safe side it said: “Let’s fu*king party!”
After the third song, the first audience members have to go to the toilet – they run to miss as little as possible. However, you don’t notice how 38-year-old J Balvin squats down for the first time to impregnate the air to the remix of the party hit “Yeah” by Usher. In the background, women in Lady Gaga commemorative outfits dance. The reggaeton superstar has long had the crowd in his pocket.
The one meter seventy man is the tallest this evening
In an interview with 20 minutes before the concert, J Balvin said that he wanted to represent reggaeton and his homeland Colombia worthy on stage. Many in the audience in Zurich are wearing yellow Colombia jerseys, others are carrying flags of their home countries. J Balvin greets the Venezuelans, Argentinians, Bolivians, Peruvians and Spaniards one after the other – women are clearly in the majority this evening.
Then the superstar allows himself a moment for himself. He asks the audience to turn on their cell phone lights and sits down – now in a glittery jeans outfit – to sing the ballad “La Canción,” which made a boy cry at the last Gurten Open Air. In moments like these he is a happy bear. Every now and then he just grins and pirouettes because the fans continue to sing the songs without him. At this moment, a viewer decides to let her sister take part in the show via video camera. “She couldn’t come today, but loves this song,” she explains. Finally, the married superstar begins to open his jacket, showing his 0.5 percent body fat and some nipples – whereupon some people present forget to blink.
By the time he turns the Hallenstadion into a madhouse with the last song “In Da Ghetto” and disappears under the stage in the elevator, it is clear that the one-meter-seventy man is the tallest tonight. Afterwards, the superstar supposedly foregoes an encore and instead waves goodbye to his fans topless.
Later he shows up next to the DJ booth at Kaufleuten and gives Zurich an encore.
