According to Fox, the meeting occurred when he approached Elordi with an unusual request: he wanted some of the actor’s bathwater, alluding to a viral scene from Saltburn. The situation reportedly worsened after Elordi asked Fox to stop filming and delete the captured video. “I refused because I felt uncomfortable at the time and that was the only proof I had,” Fox reported on the radio show. He described the incident, claiming that Elordi had pushed him against the wall and placed his hands on his neck.

New South Wales Police confirmed they are conducting an investigation into the incident. In a statement to Variety, law enforcement said: “Officers from the Eastern Beaches Area Command are investigating an alleged robbery that occurred outside a hotel in Sydney’s east. According to information received at approximately 3:30pm on Saturday, February 3, 2024, a 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old man. The man allegedly assaulted was not injured. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.”
