The renowned actor John Travolta, remembered for his roles in Grease and Saturday Night Fever, recently dedicated an emotional tribute to his late wife, Kelly Preston, on the occasion of Mother’s Day, sharing several through his Instagram account. photographs that highlight unforgettable moments in the company of his children Ella Bleu, Benjamin, and the late Jett.
On Saturday, May 11, the actor, 70, posted a touching early Mother’s Day message in honor of Preston, who lost her life in 2020 due to breast cancer at age 57. In her publication, Travolta shared photos of the actress with her children, accompanied by a heartfelt message: “Happy Mother’s Day, Kelly. We love you, we miss you.”

Her daughter Ella’s response was immediate. In Travolta’s same publication, within her comments section, she added a series of heart-shaped emojis, thus demonstrating her love and constant memory of her mother.
Among the images shared, one highlights Preston alongside Ella, now 24, and Benjamin, 13, holding handmade signs that read “Bake Sale” while standing next to an outdoor table with trays. of brownies and sandwiches. A second photograph appears to have been taken on a previous Mother’s Day, where Preston hugs Benjamin in an indoor environment surrounded by gift bags and a card alluding to the celebration.

In a final black-and-white photo, a young Ella is seen as a child and the couple’s late son, Jett — who died in 2010 at the age of 16 during a vacation in the Bahamas, after suffering a seizure and hitting his head — as Preston holds Ella and leans in to kiss Jett, and Ella caresses her brother’s face.
This tribute from Travolta comes almost four years after Preston’s death. The couple married in 1991 and had three children: the aforementioned Ella, Benjamin and Jett. In addition to this tribute, Travolta has also remembered her children Ella and Jett’s birthdays last month.

On April 3, Travolta celebrated Ella’s birthday with an adorable video montage that shows the young woman baking and decorating her birthday cake, as well as enjoying a car ride with her father. “Happy birthday Ella,” Travolta is heard saying behind the camera. To which Ella smilingly responds: “Thank you.” In the caption, the actor expressed his love for his daughter: “Happy birthday Ella. I love you. Your dad!”
Likewise, on April 12, Travolta honored his late son Jett on what would have been his 32nd birthday, sharing a throwback photo on Instagram where he and Preston hug their son while he was still a child. Travolta accompanied the image with a message full of love and longing: “Happy birthday my Jetty — there is not a day that you are not with me!”
