After touring around the world with their latest album “Dawn Sounds” (23), Kim Churchill returns with a new album and a great tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. He will bring her energetic songs to the Razzmatazz room 3 in Barcelona on October 29, 2024 Yet the Clamores room in Madrid on October 30, 2024.
On April 4, the composer published “Hobbies”, a song with a soundscape of soft acoustics and sweeping strings. A grounding track, cutting through the noise of society’s expectations with liberating lines. This single is the first preview of his next album, for which there is still no release date but it will be released this year.
Kim Churchill landed on the music scene in 2009 with a relaxed folk style that remains just as emotional as in its beginnings. During his long career of more than a decade, he has played at renowned festivals such as the Festival de Glastonburyhe Montreal International Jazz Festival or the South By Southwest. Furthermore, the composer has been winner of the award Australia’s National Youth Folk Artist of the Yearapart from being nominated for the APRA Awards on two occasions.
