On Monday, Buckingham Palace announced bad news: During Charles’ prostate treatment a few days ago, the monarch was diagnosed with cancer. What type of cancer it was was not initially disclosed. The king is already undergoing treatment and will continue to do certain work.

Charles’ son Harry even traveled from the USA at short notice. On Tuesday the two met for the first time in many months. Some details are now known.

How “The SunAccording to reports, Charles even had a helicopter flight rescheduled to Sandringham so he could meet Harry in the British capital. Father and son had not seen each other for 16 months.

The relationship between Harry and the rest of the British royal family has been considered very tense since the tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021. Only last year did the 39-year-old follow up with his biography “Spare” – in which, among other things, he criticizes Charles’ educational methods. The latest meeting is now attracting even more attention.

This is how Charles looked when he met Harry

An observer told “The Sun” that Charles was “completely himself” during the encounter and that the king was “doing very well.” It goes on to say: “If you didn’t know that something was wrong with him, you wouldn’t suspect it.” However, another source adds that Charles is “a little frustrated that his condition has affected not only his own plans, but those of others as well.”

Although the meeting reportedly only lasted 30 minutes, it was apparently very important for both parties involved. However, Harry will apparently not see his brother William during his stay in England. The Prince of Wales has “no plans” in this regard.

William back in public

After his wife Kate’s abdominal operation, William will be attending public appointments again on Wednesday. In the morning, the British heir to the throne will receive several citizens and celebrities at Windsor Castle to present them with awards. In the evening he will perform at the annual fundraising gala for the London Air Ambulance.

In the past few days, the 41-year-old had focused entirely on his family. Princess Kate will not be performing any royal duties until at least Easter; she is recovering at home after her operation.

Lucy Diakovska is the winner of the 17th season of “I’m a Celebrity – Get Me Out of Here!”. In the final she was clearly ahead in terms of the voting results. She received 64.49 percent of the votes from the audience. Leyla Lahouar took second place with 35.51 percent. The singer clearly secured victory. The 47-year-old could hardly believe that she won before the others. “That doesn’t exist,” she said happily. Now ex-Jungle stars reveal exclusively to Watson whether Lucy deserved to win and explain what makes her suitable for the throne as a person.
