Many would argue that Neymar never really hit his stride at Paris Saint-Germain.
His time in France was characterized by major injury spells, as well as the fact that there were constant reports that the Brazilian was a moment of unrest in the dressing room and came into conflict with his teammates.

– Drink alcohol before training
According to the newspaper, it was a series of turbulent situations that finally led to Neymar leaving PSG in favor of Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia last summer.
The newspaper refers to anonymous sources, which they claim are former players and employees of the club.
They allege, among other things, that Neymar sometimes turned up drunk at training.
It is not the first time Neymar has been accused of similar things. In 2022, a French journalist claimed that the brass almost didn’t train anymore, was in bad shape and had been drinking before training.
Neymar has not commented on the claims by L’Equipe.

Cheered on his teammates
L’Equipe also claim that Neymar was the source of a heated argument on the training ground between Lionel Messi, Achraf Hakimi and Sergio Ramos.
The source then goes on to tell about a strained relationship between Neymar and teammate Kylian Mbappé.
– At the beginning he (Mbappé) liked Neymar, but after working with him on a daily basis, he lost respect for Neymar, says a former employee at the club, according to L’Equipe.
The star factor and power of Mbappé is also said to have irritated Messi and Neymar.
– It annoyed them that Mbappé got “the key to the whole shop”. Messi, even though he was an introvert, greeted you. Neymar did not. You had the feeling that he didn’t respect you. It’s a shame, because he seemed like a nice guy in private.
The Brazilian has not played football since November last year due to a knee injury.
