Neon Training welcomed the commemoration of the International Day of Physical Activity in Ciclovida de Cali

Upon arriving at the Panamericana station, Jorge, Lady, Guillermo and Álvaro wanted to continue participating in other activities. In the Inclusion Tent, each one was ‘measured’ with a different challenge. Lady joined a party sitting volleyball, modality played by people with physical disabilities (PCD), it didn’t go badly at all and they ‘held’ the victory on their shoulders; Guillermo, Jorge Antonio and Álvaro preferred to do their first steps On another topic, they blindfolded themselves and scored a couple of goals on an improvised futsala court where they learned to listen to the ball in order to be able to score. “It is not easy to do it without seeing and still defend yourself in something as simple as this. Do you know something? -added Guillermo, while he took off the blindfold-, that’s life: full of challenges. Some are more difficult and some are more fun, but ultimately, they are all important to achieve.”

The children also had their space in the Sports Circuit. There they overcame small obstacles, crossed tunnels, tested their skills with stability and tested their cooperativism in games that work in a special way on their motor skills and skill in their movements.

On a tour of the Panamericana station, Felipe Montoya Montoya, Secretary of Sports and Recreation of Cali, received a hug from several citizens who gave him special thanks for all the sports spaces that the city recovers in the territories. “We commemorate not only the International Day of Physical Activity, but throughout the month we are going to have special sporting events.
