Bola.net – Latest FIFA ranking update for the Indonesian National Team, Wednesday 27 March 2024. Shin Tae-yong’s squad received a quite satisfactory increase in position after beating Vietnam.

Last Tuesday (26/3/2024), the national team succeeded in defeating Vietnam in Ha Noi. Shin Tae-yong’s troops performed mightily to secure a 3-0 score at My Dinh National Stadium.

Indonesia appeared confident from the start. The three winning goals this time were scored by Jay Idzes (9′), Ragnar Oratmangoen (23′), and Ramadhan Sananta (90+8′). Vietnam fought back, but was outclassed.

This victory also boosted Indonesia’s position in the standings of Group F of the 2026 World Cup Qualification Asia Zone, now in second place with 7 points. Not only that, the Garuda squad also received an additional 14.66 points in the FIFA ranking.

Update on the Indonesian National Team’s FIFA ranking

An additional 14.66 points immediately boosted the position of the Indonesian National Team. Now, Indonesia is ranked 135th in the FIFA rankings in the March 2024 edition.

From 142nd in January 2024, Indonesia is now in 134th position in the FIFA rankings. When compared with other ASEAN countries, the Garuda Squad is only behind Vietnam (115) and Thailand (101).
