London, Mayor Sadiq Khan re-elected. Now the goal is to “repopulate the capital”

EDINBURGH – One of the few good news for Labor after Thursday’s Election Day catastrophe is that Sadiq Khan has been re-elected Mayor of London. The fifty-year-old son of Pakistani parents, according to the BBC projections, would not have won clearly as expected against the conservative candidate Shaun Bailey, but thanks to the second preferences indicated on the ballot of the capital.
