Since signing for Boca Juniors in July 2021, Luis Advíncula has made his greatest effort to earn an important place on the team. And he has not disappointed. The Peruvian full-back knew how to make an important name for himself in the ‘xeneize’ institution and that is why the club wants to continue betting on his services. As is public knowledge, ‘Luchito’ ends his current contract with Boca in December of this year and, at 34 years old, his future was unknown. However, the footballer has been standing out in the last matches of the ‘blue and gold’ team, leaving everything for his shirt. This has allowed him to earn his renewal.
According to the information provided by César Luis Merlo, a journalist specialized in the transfer market, the Argentine club took action on the matter and reached an agreement with Advíncula to extend their relationship for three more years. If nothing strange happens along the way, the Peruvian’s renewal with Boca will be made official in the coming days. It must be remembered that Luis has been a crucial figure in four successes of the Argentine club in recent years. His achievements include an Argentine Cup, a League Cup, a national league and a Super Cup.
Likewise, the Peruvian was quite close to achieving the greatest feat of his career, reaching the final of the 2023 Copa Libertadores.
