The boss, currently in prison, was contacted by France Info to talk about Piazza Pulita XXL, the initiative against drug dealing in Marseille
(LaPresse) FranceInfo interviewed a drug trafficking boss, currently in prison, about the operation Piazza Pulita XXL supported by Macron to stamp out drug dealing in Marseille. The drug trafficker, contacted thanks to a clandestine cell phone, joked about the effectiveness of the operation: «We laughed about it with the other prisoners in front of the TV» said the man according to whom Piazza Pulita XXL was made for the media «to show that the police are present, that they are working.”
The boss explained that the agents “They go around for 15-20 minutes and with a bit of luck they catch the small drug dealer but nothing more”. And not even prison, according to the drug trafficker, is a brake on drug dealing: “Everything happens in prison: we expand, we develop, we have more contacts, more money is generated and there are more consumers.” The man assures that it is worth continuing with drug trafficking, despite the growing pressure from the police. “There will be places where there will be a lot more bloodshed,” he predicts, “because a lot of money will come. Earnings you don’t even realize » he adds. «Some are ready to die to protect their properties. It’s war, it’s the jungle.”
