Madonna performed a historic show on Copacabana beach, in Rio de Janeiro, on Saturday night (4), which marked the end of “The Celebration Tour”. See the looks worn by the singer above.
The tour celebrates the queen of pop’s 40-year career and Madonna explained the choice of location to the audience.
“I’m going to tell the story of my life, it’s not a movie, it’s real life. My life is crazy and you guys are a big part of it. I will tell stories as if I were reading my diary. Personal stories, secrets, dreams, things that people don’t know. Only the people of Rio.”
In total, Madonna has 14 studio albums and throughout her performance, the artist sang 25 songs, divided into seven acts. Check out the setlist for the show in Copacabana.
Madonna’s free show brought more than 1.6 million people to Copacabana, according to a report made by Riotur and released this Sunday (5).
