Maju Mantilla was absent, for a week, from the program ‘Arriba Mi Gente’, a Latina Television program that she hosts with Santi Lesmes and Fernando Llanos. The driver took a few days off, but her fate was unknown until today.

This second Sunday in May, to celebrate Mother’s Day, Gustavo Salcedo, Maju Mantilla’s husband, used his social networks to dedicate a message to the mother of his children. In his post he wrote: “Happy Day to the adventurous mom” and tagged the place Catarata La Leona, which is located in Costa Rica, a place to which they would have traveled as a family.

For her part, the former beauty queen has not shared this greeting on her social networks, but she has shown part of her journey.

It should be remembered that, in August 2023, the couple suffered a kind of marital crisis, after Salcedo was caught with an unknown woman entering a popular hotel. Since then, it was believed that the couple would end their relationship, but it did not happen that way.

Until then, Maju has preferred not to delve into the subject, but this is not the first time that she has been seen next to the father of her children, although over time she has avoided exposing them much more to social networks. Therefore, it is concluded that the couple would have preferred to iron out rough spots and keep their love firm as it is today, where they shine as a family, enjoying trips and giving their children memories of a united and happy family.

Maju Mantilla, beloved host of the program “Arriba Mi Gente” and Miss World 2004, recently spoke with Infobae Perú about speculation of her husband’s apparent infidelity. Mantilla was reserved when discussing the subject, preferring to keep her personal life away from the public eye.

“Many believe that you have an obligation to respond about a personal issue that you may be going through, when there is no obligation. It’s your life and you know how to handle your problems. I am public, but my parents, my sister and my family are not. They do not want their personal lives to be touched everywhere, and that must be respected,” shared the presenter, always smiling, but reflective about the pressures she has faced.

He maintained his firm stance of not discussing his personal life beyond his professional life, even in the face of dissatisfaction from some. “If I don’t want to talk about a personal issue and some people don’t like it, I understand that they don’t like it, but it’s the decision I’ve made, and no one is going to change my mind. “It is a matter of empathy,” she stated.

The host also reflected on her past in the entertainment industry, where she also talked about the private lives of others, for which she made a mea culpa and stated that she is in another television stage.

This new stage of my life is different because the line of the program is different [más familiar]. We offer the family what they want and they want to be heard,” Mantilla concluded.
