Marie Ulven (25), alias “Girl In Red”, has spent the last few years establishing herself as an international artist.
She is not the one to appear in too many interviews here at home, but has made a couple of exceptions now that she is currently working on her second album.
Out
Last week, the musician visited “StudioP3” and confirmed that he had received a bonus from Taylor Swift (34) after being her warm-up artist at eight concerts last year.
In the NRK interview, she referred to the talk that Swift gave over a million in bonus to each of the 50 truck drivers on the tour.
The wolf did not reveal the sum of her own bonus, but hinted that it was nice – and said with a smile that her “boys” would be flown first class to the USA, with caviar and champagne.
“Taylor money”
The 25-year-old’s song “we fell in love in october” has almost a billion plays on Spotify.
When she was a guest on “ELSE!” on Sunday, presenter Else Kåss asked Furuseth if such numbers stress her.
– I thought you were going to say “are you going to be stone rich”, replies Ulven, before the presenter interjects that she also wonders about that.
The artist says they can talk more about it, before she elaborates:
– Yes, I have bought a new car. A Corvette, red car, and I will also have “girl in red” on the sign, she says.

– It was bought with Taylor Swift money, right? Ask Kåss Furuseth.
– Yes, maybe a little. But the thing is, you can’t tell the difference between the money when it ends up in the “account”. But for the TV’s sake, I say: “Yes, it was bought with Taylor Swift money,” says the 25-year-old.
– There is speed in it
The model is apparently a 2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6.
Good evening Norway has tried to get in touch with Ulven for a comment.
– It is a very popular summer car for us, says president of Corvette Club Norway, Roar Selvnes.

The model was produced until 2013, and on Finn.no it is priced from 350,000 to just under 700,000.
– Compared to an Italian sports car, such as Ferrari, the Corvette is generally much cheaper, also when it comes to service and maintenance, comments Selvnes.
It is a two-seater American sports car with a V8 engine, and has around 400 horses.
– So it’s a fun car to drive – it’s fast, even on Norwegian roads, he concludes.
