Köln – Actor and singer Mark Keller is leaving the RTL show “Let’s Dance” early for health reasons. “An injury to his Achilles tendon forces Mark to stop due to the threat of a complete tear,” it said Instagram-Account the show. “Our team of doctors has therefore ordered that Mark’s foot be completely protected.”
Keller (59) said in a video message: “Unfortunately it’s over. Unfortunately, I have to retire.” He thanked his fans and his dance partner Kathrin Menzinger. “I have a piece of the dream that I had as a little boy, I was able to experience it and it was something very special.”
Keller became known through series such as “Alarm for Cobra 11” and “The Mountain Doctor”. Singer Lulu Lewe and her dance partner Massimo Sinató are coming back for him and Menzinger. Lewe had to leave the show last week because of the fewest points.
Recently, comedian Tony Bauer also left the RTL show prematurely – also for health reasons.
