The highlights of the second round:
46th min.: The game has barely started and Njinmah is up and running. At the edge of the box he hits another hook and finishes with his left – too weak, Rönnow can pick it up without any problems.
50th min.: Yorbe Vertessen scores the goal to make it 1-0 for 1. FC Union Berlin. Vertessen finishes at the penalty spot and slams the ball into the corner.
52nd min.: The second comes right after…Brenden Aaronson scores the goal for 1. FC Union Berlin to make it 2-0. After a one-two with Vertessen, Aaronson runs through the Bremen defense and is able to net.
56th min.: Malatini delivers a great cross to Ducksch, who heads towards the goal. Woltemade tries to redirect the ball, but can no longer reach it, so Rönnow can pick it up without any problems.
63rd minute: Werder is still alive! Mitchell Weiser gets the ball in front of Rönnow and scores for SV Werder Bremen to make it 2-1!
