(LaPresse) Reported all over the world McDonald’s system failures, which closed some restaurants for hours and prompted complaints from customers on social media. The fast food chain spoke of a “technology disruption” that was being resolved.
McDonald’s in Japan wrote on X that “operations are temporarily halted at many of our stores nationwide.” In one of the restaurants in Tokyo, waiters take orders with a pen and payments are made in cash to overcome the failure of digital systems.
