Men’s Day in Burgenlandkreis: Heavenly pleasure in Aue-Aylsdorf

Zeitz/MZ. Young and old experienced heavenly pleasure on Men’s Day. Traditionally, the church holiday of Ascension Day began in the Aue-Aylsdorf church with a service organized by Pastor Anja Christoph. Meanwhile, the parish garden was filling up, the grill was fired up and the women of the local history association were preparing the café. White blankets and colorful flowers decorated the tables. The church and secular coexistence worked extremely well. “We offer 27 cakes and tarts, including of course the Aylsdorf cherry cake,” revealed Carina Lautenschläger from the group of helpers. On the street, 23 comrades from the Zeitz and Aue-Aylsdorf volunteer fire departments led the procession. Colorful and full of joie de vivre. The colorfully decorated Maie was driven through Aue-Aylsdorf on the trailer and finally placed in the garden.
