The highly anticipated biopic of Michael Jackson, in production for months, is finally starting to take shape. Director Antoine Fuqua has in fact published the first image of the film expected in theaters in April 2025.
Michael’s nephew will play the King of Pop, Jaafar Jackson who shows off the historic look in the shot Man in the Mirrordal Dangerous Tour from 1992-93. “The photo was taken by famous photographer Kevin Mazur, who documented Michael’s final trials, and is now the first to photograph Jaafar in character as Michael”, reads the caption.
The film Michael will tell the story of the pop star’s life from his childhood to his years of success. Her mother will be played by actress Nia Long who will join Oscar nominee Colman Domingo in the role of her controversial father Joe. The cast also includes the very young actor Juliano Krue Valdi, nine years old, for the child Michael.
