This Sunday, Milan drew 3-3 with Genoa, at the San Siro, in the 35th round of the Italian Championship. At the end of the game, defender Malick Thiaw scored against his own goal and tied the match for the visitors.

With the result, second-placed Milan reaches 71 points and is close to guaranteeing qualification for the next Champions League. Genoa occupies 12th place, with 43.

Milan takes the field again next Saturday, at 3:45 pm (Brasília time), against Cagliari, at San Siro, for the 36th round of the Italian Championship. While Genoa hosts Sassuolo the following Sunday at 10am.

At the beginning of the game, three minutes into the first half, Genoa opened the scoring. Alessandro Vogliacco played with Badelj, advanced to the right and was brought down by Tomori inside the area. The referee awarded a penalty and Mateo Retegui converted.

Milan tied the match at the end of the first half, in the 45th minute. Samuel Chukwueze received the ball on the right, cut to the middle and crossed the ball into the box for Alessandro Florenzi, who headed the ball into the back of the goal.

At the beginning of the second half, after three minutes, Genoa took the lead again on the scoreboard. Vogliacco hit a great cross from the right and Caleb Ekuban headed it hard to find the net.

After the goal conceded, Milan started to put pressure on Genoa and equalized in the 26th minute. Florenzi took a corner from the left and Matteo Gabbia won the challenge from the top to score the second goal for the home team.

Three minutes later, Milan turned the match around, with a goal from French striker Olivier Giroud. Pulisic received it on the right, advanced and crossed to the striker, who finished first from the top to score.

At the end of the game, in the 43rd minute, Genoa tied the match, with an own goal from Milan. Morten Thorsby received a great pass, advanced and touched the area, Tomori tried to clear it, but the ball hit defender Malick Thiaw and went into the goal.

Juventus draw with Roma

Roma and Juventus drew 1-1 this Sunday in the 35th round of the Italian league. The goals were scored by Romelu Lukaku, for the home team, and Bremer, for the visitors.

With the draw, Juventus remains in third place, with 66 points. Roma occupies fifth place, with 60.
