Miloš Biković found himself in the center of comments due to his decision not to be a part of the “White Lotus” series.

Biković previously talked about such cases in the “PopTok” show, i.e. the so-called Kensl culture. Asked to comment on the fact that Russian artists are banned all over the world, Biković said that this is by no means liberalism:

“First, is it a democracy and a liberal world? There are different words for art, politics, sports, because they are different things. The most basic Christian message is: ‘Do not judge’. The liberal world, which calls itself that, is not liberal, but very aggressive. What does it mean that you take down the flag of a tennis player or a chess player because you are against the politics of that country? Well, that’s nothing new.”he said earlier.

As we wrote before, Biković is a real star in Russia, where he plays in the most watched films and series, just like in Serbia. Three years ago he received Russian citizenship and the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, personally praised him for his contribution to the country’s culture. Biković was banned from entering Ukraine two years earlier due to security reasons.

Ukraine accused Biković of supporting Russia’s invasion of that country. The ministry there claims that shortly after the invasion, an actor on the X network, then Twitter, shared a poll showing Putin was more trusted than Volodymyr Zelensky.

“Deadline” reported that, according to unofficial information, Biković was supposed to play a Russian yoga instructor in a hotel in Thailand. The same influential Hollywood media reminds that the actor never supported the Russian invasion of Ukraine, but he did not officially condemn it either.

Miloš Biković recently became a father and had his first son whom he and his chosen one Ivana named Vasilije.
