According to the WeChat official account of the Ministry of Commerce on April 15, Xu Bingxiang, spokesperson of the Canton Fair and deputy director of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that the 131st Canton Fair will be held from April 15 to 24 with the theme of “China Unicom and International Dual Cycle”. Held online for 10 days. The exhibition content includes three parts: online display platform, supply and purchase docking service, and cross-border e-commerce area. On the official website, there are columns for exhibitors and exhibits, virtual exhibition halls, exhibitor connections, news and activities, and conference services. The overall scale remains stable, with about 25,500 domestic and foreign exhibitors and 50 exhibition areas set up according to 16 categories of commodities.

Xu Bingxiang introduced that the export exhibition brought together 2,132 branded enterprises, with the titles of “Little Giant”, a single champion of manufacturing, a national high-tech enterprise, a Chinese time-honored brand, a senior Chinese customs AEO certification, and a national enterprise technology center. A total of 4,395 companies and about 950 companies from 102 national-level foreign trade transformation and upgrading bases participated in the exhibition. The import exhibition attracted a total of 402 overseas enterprises from 32 countries and regions.

Xu Bingxiang said that over 2.9 million exhibits were uploaded by enterprises, including over 900,000 new products and over 480,000 green and low-carbon exhibits, all hitting record highs. Exemption from exhibitor fees, online service fees from exhibitors, and no fees from cross-border e-commerce platforms participating in simultaneous activities.
