What kind of disease is mumps?

Mumps, also known as mumps or mumps, is a systemic infection caused by the mumps virus. It is basically a droplet infection, but it can also be transmitted through direct or indirect contact with the patient’s saliva. The main symptoms are swelling and pain in the parotid, submandibular, and sublingual glands. The most common complication is aseptic meningitis, which includes orchitis, oophoritis, pancreatitis, nephritis, meningitis, and sensorineural hearing loss. Once sensorineural hearing loss develops, it is difficult to restore hearing.
