Murder George Floyd, three ex-cops convicted of failing to stop their colleague

They were in the “front row” and “did nothing” to avoid the death of a man. Three former policemen were found guilty of violating the civil rights of George Floyd, the African American was killed in 2020 during a police operation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The verdict comes ten months after the conviction of the main defendant, Derek Chauvinthe man taken from a video while pressing with his knee on Floyd’s neck, held on the ground with his hands behind his back.

The African American had begged to be allowed to breathe, but both Chauvin and his colleagues had done nothing to alleviate his suffering. Floyd later died of cardiac arrest. Former agents Alexander Kueng, Thomas Lane and Tou Thao were found guilty not only of violating Floyd’s civil rights, but of not intervening to stop their colleague.
