“Mustang”, first preview of Kings Of Leon’s new album

Kings Of Leon release a double surprise to their fans: not only have they released a new song, “Mustang”, but they have also announced the details of a new album titled “Can We Please Have Fun”. It will be the band’s ninth full-length studio album, and comes as the follow-up to “When You See Yourself” (twenty-one). It will go on sale on May 10 and, as the title suggests, it will be a work that allows the members of the group to free themselves from expectations, experiment with their sounds and have fun.

The album has been recorded in Dark Horse Studio together with the musician and producer Kid Harpoonwho has participated in the production process. Caleb Followill (group singer) and company return to their spunky roots, while at the same time pushing their sound into new territory. “It was the most fun album I’ve ever been on,” says Caleb. His bandmate, Nathan Followilladds: “It’s like we allow ourselves to be musically vulnerable… I love when a rock band isn’t ashamed to admit that every song doesn’t have to sound traditionally rock.”
