The production is inspired by the true story of a dog named Palma who was inadvertently left at the airport by her owner. She befriends nine-year-old Nicholas, whose mother dies, and leaves him with a father he barely knows, a pilot who finds the dog. Palma and Nicholas live incredible adventures and create a true friendship and unconditional love.
