MOSCOW. Leonid Volkov, one of Alexiei Navalny’s main allies, announced on the internet the dissolution of the network of offices of the Russian opponent in prison: the newspaper Meduza reports. The news comes after the Moscow prosecutor ordered to suspend the activities of the offices: a network of activists that covers practically all of Russia. A trial is underway against the regional offices of Navalny and the anti-corruption fund of the opponent, accused of “extremism” by the prosecutor’s office, but there are many who believe these charges are of a political nature. “Unfortunately, working in such conditions is impossible. We are officially dissolving the Navalny office network, ”said Volkov according to Meduza.
