Chance Perdomo is best known from the hit series “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” and the superhero spin-off “Generation V”. Now he has died in a motorcycle accident.
In “Generation V” Chance Perdomo most recently played one of the main roles, the student Andre Anderson. As this, he attends Godolkin University, where young people with supernatural powers are trained and researched at the same time. Perdomo had already become known a few years earlier through the Netflix success “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”, a series based on the 1990s sitcom “Sabrina – Totally Bewitched!”. There he played the bisexual witcher cousin of the half-witch Sabrina, Ambrose Spellman.
The British-American actor has now died at the age of 27 as a result of a motorcycle accident. No other person was involved in the accident, his representatives said in a statement. The location or exact date of the accident was not disclosed. Perdomo was born in Los Angeles in 1996, but grew up in Southampton, England.
“Always charming, always smiling”
“His passion for art and insatiable appetite for life were felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will live on in those he loved most,” a statement also said. “We ask that the family’s wishes for privacy be respected as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother.”
The producers of the series “Generation V” spoke up via what’s happened. “Our condolences go out to Chance’s family and we mourn the loss of our friend and colleague. Hug your loved ones tonight.” Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television, which co-produced the series, also shared condolences. (ed.)
