New parcel service in Cuba through Cubana de Aviación

The national airline Cubana de Aviación has announced the launch of a new international parcel service in Cuba, set to begin on February 1. The service will offer delivery within 72 hours in Havana, with options for sending boxes up to 20 kg of food, medicine, and hygiene to markets in Spain, Italy, Panama, and Canada. This announcement comes as Correos de Cuba has blamed Cubana de Aviación for delays in the delivery of shipments, citing difficulties in operating flights. Despite the new service, some Cubans have expressed doubt about its effectiveness and raised questions about home delivery rates. In a separate development, Cubana de Aviación recently introduced the option to buy plane tickets online, offering flexibility for both cash and transfer payments.
