NEW YORK. One dead and nine injured, including three policemen, is the toll of a fire that struck the Bronx again, nine days after the fire that had caused seventeen victims, including eight minors, all residing in a nineteen-story building. This time the flames destroyed a three-story building, which then collapsed. The victim is an 82-year-old woman. Another person is hospitalized. All of the injured had respiratory problems related to smoke inhalation. The fire may have been caused by a gas leak.
