“My child, YOUR MUNZE LOVES YOU! My brother, great sadness, pain… I am so happy that I had you as a friend, mentor, brother! I was very lucky to grow up with you, to see your human qualities, that I saw honesty, courage, cheerfulness, smile, simplicity… That I could see what kind of father and husband you are! I can write here about basketball, life, advice… I can write for days, years! And I will surely be one of the many who will try so that all your kindness, smile and actions are forever where they should be. AND YOU ARE THE GREATEST! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING! AND ONCE AGAIN, YOUR MUNZE LOVES YOU”, Veličković wrote.
It is understandable that Veličković is very shaken by the departure of his close friend Miloj. He was still Partizan’s talent while Dejan Milojević was the leader and the best basketball player in Serbia. Then Miloje was also his coach, when they worked together in Mega. With him he grew, matured, he absorbed lessons from him that had nothing to do only with basketball, and this message shows how much Miloje will be missed by him, as well as by everyone who knew him.
