nPerf certifies iliad as the fastest fiber for download and upload
iliad announces today that it has been awarded as the fastest FTTH fixed network in Italy in 2023 and nPerfan independent company specialized in measuring the performance of fixed and mobile connections.
The award was awarded following over 650 thousand tests conducted in 2023 by users of the major telecommunications operators in Italy on the nPerf.com website and on certified speedtest platforms, comparing the performance of each operator in terms of speed and latency.
From the analysis of the results iliad has obtained the best performance in terms of download and upload speed.
In comparison with all types of fixed internet connections, iliad establishes itself as the undisputed leader boasting performances of download speed of 388 Mb/s, more than double that of the second competitor. The position is further strengthened by the upload performance which reaches 264 Mb/s – more than triple the second operator – and by the clear advantage in terms of latency (18 ms) which translates into better responsiveness of the connection.
In the ranking of FTTH networksiliad achieves the best performance with 578,16 Mb/s in download e 400,88 Mb/s in upload and receives the certification of faster fiber of the country.
