Once Caldas started the home runs of the Betplay 2024-I League in an unbeatable way. The Manizale team beat La Equidad 2-0 at the Palogrande stadium and is the leader of group B due to goal difference. The goals were from Jhon Araújo and Dayro Moreno.

In the first half, Once Caldas had its first clear chance in a play with two chances. First, Billy Arce sent a cross that closed and forced Washington Ortega to take the ball. Then, the goalkeeper’s rebound was left to Dayro and there Ortega saved the option.
