The new generation of Opel’s light commercial vehicle trio is ready to roll: the new compact Opel Combo, the new medium-sized Opel Vivaro and the new large Opel Movano are available to order now and will soon be able to handle almost any task : flexible, robust, ultra-modern and distinctive.
The brand’s new light commercial vehicle models with the Blitz are immediately recognizable thanks to the new light commercial vehicle-specific interpretation of the Opel Vizor branding front, familiar from new Opel cars. The Vizor integrates the brand emblem with the characteristic headlights, creating a single element that extends completely across the front of the vehicle.
In addition to the exterior design, the interiors of the new Opel Combo, Vivaro and Movano have been further developed. Highlights will include new wireless infotainment systems compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with up to 10-inch color touchscreen. The new generation of Opel Combo, Vivaro and Movano is also a leader when it comes to driver assistance systems.
The new Opel Combo brings adaptive, anti-glare Intelli-Lux LED® Matrix headlights to its segment for the first time. The new Opel Movano enables level 2 autonomous driving, an absolute first in its history. Depending on the model, up to 21 cutting-edge driver assistance systems are available, making business trips as well as maneuvering on company premises or in the city easier and safer.
The exciting new offering is complemented by a wide variety of versions: as usual, the trio of light commercial vehicles is available in different lengths and heights as well as numerous body variants to meet almost all commercial needs
In short, each model will feature a new exterior style and a redesigned cabin, while the battery-electric versions will continue to offer class-leading driving range, with the new Opel Movano Electric capable of traveling up to 420 kilometers on a single charge (driving as prescribed by the WLTP cycle). This is made possible by cutting-edge battery technologies and improvements such as increased efficiency. The new Opel Combo Electric, Vivaro Electric and Movano Electric also continue to offer the full operational capability of their internal combustion engine counterparts.
However, Opel light commercial vehicles will not only be available with locally emission-free electric drive or highly efficient combustion engines. In addition to the Opel Vivaro HYDROGEN, the new Opel Movano will also enrich the range of engines such as the innovative Opel Movano HYDROGEN powered by fuel cells.
