Radarbanyuwangi.id – Subdistrict Coordinator (Korcam) for Witnesses of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Mohammad Munir was disappointed with the witness recruitment system carried out by the Banyuwangi PKB Branch Leadership Council (DPC).
The trigger was that the witnesses who had been recruited and formed by the DPC PKB Banyuwangi Winning Witness Institution (LSP) for approximately a year ago were apparently not used. Ironically, as many as 240 witnesses, 9 village coordinators (kordes) and 3 sub-district coordinators (korcam) who had been formed took part in witness training.
Korcam Witness PKB Mohammad Munir admitted that the Kordes and Korcam as well as the witnesses who had been trained had formed a structure and were also handed over to the DPC PKB. “They will serve as witnesses according to the TPS in Electoral District 8, Kalipuro District,” said Munir.
Furthermore, on Sunday (4/2) representatives from the Branch Leadership (PAC) and Korcam witnesses met at the PKB DPC office with representatives from the faction chairman and winning captain, Moh. Ali Mahrus, Chair of LSP, Chair of Kordapil agreed or approved the data from PAC Kalipuro to be used as a witness in the 2024 general election.

“After we asked for clarity on the status of the witnesses that we had proposed to the DPC PKB and the Chair of the LSP, it turned out that the witnesses who had been formed for a year and attended the training were not actually used, because new witnesses had been formed by Regional Military Commander 8 without communication and coordination with PAC Kalipuro. “Of course this is very disappointing for us,” said Munir.
Munir as Korcam witness appointed by the Chair of the Kalipuro PKB PAC was disappointed with the attitude taken by the Banyuwangi PKB DPC which actually ordered non-structural ranks to recruit new witnesses, so that old witnesses who had been formed and received training were not used as witnesses in the elections. in 2024.
At a follow-up meeting on Sunday (11/2) at the DPC PKB office, it was only a miscommunication and the result of an agreement in the forum or meeting, the old witnesses who had been formed would be used as witnesses for the presidential and vice presidential candidate pairs.
“We are very concerned about the attitude of the Banyuwangi DPC management who are neglecting their duties because of actions that are not in accordance with the organizational structure. “We demand that the PKB Banyuwangi DPC management immediately resolve this problem, so that it does not spread and damage the good image of PKB Banyuwangi,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the LSP DPC PKB Banyuwangi Aditya Ruli Delianto said that this issue was an internal matter of the DPC PKB Banyuwangi. “That’s an internal dynamic, witnesses according to TPS are still used as witnesses,” he concluded. (ddy/sgt)
