Cairo. Patrick Zaki does not stand still for a moment. His fate hangs by a thread and the thread is in the hands of the judge of the Mansoura court who in the next few hours will have to decide whether to close his case, postpone it again or – nothing is excluded – have him return to that cell where he spent 22 of the last 24 months, since in February 2020 he was arrested at the Cairo airport on his way back from Bologna, where he was studying.
