The fans are already in Slovenia and around the world cried yes Peter Prevc he’s not retiring, and now it’s clear why! After several second places and podiums this year, he managed to win first place! At the airport in Vickershund he flew 235.5 meters and took first place in the qualifiers!
Before that, he won in Trondheim Stefan Kraftthen the Austrians Daniel Chofening, Jan Herl and Daniel Huber lined up, and Prevts was fifth. Now we wait for 16 hours to see if the champion from 2016 in Vikersund can also take the gold in the main program!
“This is my last season of professional sports. The decision was ripening for some time and I finally made up my mind. My heart ordered me to open a new page in my life. I don’t know yet which direction I will take, we will talk about it at the end of the season. I am proud on 15 seasons in the World Cup and on my results. I am also proud that this whole sport in Slovenia grew with me and reached international reputation“, said Prevc at the beginning of the season.

Now his sister Nika Prevc is on her way to victory in the Women’s World Cup, and the fans hope that by the end of the competition in Planica, she will change her mind and appear in the World Cup next year as well.
