Platform made important announcement for migrants seeking sponsorship for humanitarian parole in the US

Welcome Connect, a platform designed to help migrants and refugees find Humanitarian Parole sponsors in the United States, has announced the upcoming dates for registration. The platform, which is part of the Welcome charity organization in the US, has changed its schedule to open for registrations on the third Tuesday of each month, with the next dates being May 16 and June 20.

It is important to note that spaces on the Welcome Connect platform are limited, and once the maximum number of registrations is reached, the platform will automatically close until the following month. This scheduling is in place to ensure successful connections between sponsors and beneficiaries.

The platform will open for registrations at 3:00 pm Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), which translates to different times in various countries. Users will be required to provide their name, nationality, and email address when registering, and will have the opportunity to connect with up to seven sponsors through a chat feature on the platform.

Welcome Connect has also implemented security measures to prevent bot traffic and ensure the privacy of applicant data. The platform previously experienced issues with bots attempting to access and sell registration slots, leading to temporary shutdowns.
