Bobby told reporters in the Kemang area, Jakarta, that the character Cilla, played by Freya JKT48, would not have the role of being possessed by a demon in this film.

Member of the seventh generation idol group JKT48 Raden Rara Freyanashifa Jayawardana or familiarly called Freya made her acting debut on the cinema screen by playing the character Cilla in the horror film entitled “Kuasa Gelap” (“Dominion of Darkness”) which was shot on February 10.

Freya, at a press conference for the latest horror film produced by Ideosource Entertainment and Paragon Pictures in South Jakarta, Monday, admitted that she was supported by JKT48 members who had acted in films such as Azizi Shafaa Asadel (Zee), and others to be able to explore acting.

The producer of the film “Dark Power” Robert Ronny said Freya was discovered in the “casting” process to look for extraordinary talents with great potential to build feelings of connection between the characters in his film’s story and the audience.

“JKT48’s Freya will play the character Cilla,” said Robert ​​also.

Robert said that his party deliberately invited new young film stars to regenerate the country’s film resources to support the development of the creative economy in Indonesia.
