The police suspect that there are a number of motives behind AARN, the perpetrator murder towards a woman with the initials RM yang his body was found in a suitcase in Cikarang, Bekasi.
“So there are several motives here, financial motives, economic problems, then romantic motives and also there are motives for heartache,” said West Cikarang Police Chief Commissioner Gurnald Patiran when confirmed, Thursday (2/5).
Gurnald said it was suspected that the victim and perpetrator had another relationship outside of work. Moreover, there was sexual intercourse between the two before the suspect finally ended the victim’s life.

“If he admits that he had sexual relations, yes, that means he already had a relationship with the victim. There was already a relationship,” said Gurnald.
Nevertheless, Gurnald said that his party was still continuing to investigate the suspect’s confession to determine the motive behind this murder.
“But for now we are still investigating, OK? We are still investigating first. The perpetrator lied a lot,” he said.
Previously, the body of a woman from Bandung with the initials RM (50) was found in a suitcase in the Cikarang area, Bekasi, West Java on Thursday (25/4).
After carrying out a series of investigations and investigators, the police arrested the perpetrator with the initials AARN in Palembang, South Sumatra.
Now AARN has been named a suspect. He was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code concerning murder and Article 365 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with violence.
Police revealed that the suspect and victim were recorded on CCTV cameras at a hotel in Bandung.
In the CCTV footage, the suspect wearing a black shirt and the victim wearing a red shirt complete with a gray headscarf entered the hotel room at around 09.51 WIB.
The suspect then left the hotel room at around 18.39 WIB, carrying a black suitcase which contained the victim’s body.
Police also revealed that the suspect had sexual intercourse with the victim before killing her. Not only that, the suspect also took money belonging to the office which the victim was carrying at the time.
