Sad news arrived on Sunday from Moscow, where the former head of the “igosa” profession died.
The former coach of the Igoke Basketball Club, Predrag Badnjarević, died at the age of 61 in Moscow.
At the time of his death, Badnjarević was working as a coach of the second team of the CSKA Basketball Club from Moscow, who also confirmed the news of his death.
Born in Vrbas in 1963.
He started his coaching career in Radnički from Kragujevac, then from 1988 to 1993 he worked in Crvena zvezda, where he was the coach of the junior categories and one of the most deserving people for the arrival of Predrag Stojaković in the ranks of the team from Mali Kalemegdan.
He was the coach of Igokea in 2008, and also worked in the Greek clubs PAOK and Larisa, as well as in clubs in Bulgaria and Romania.
He also led the national teams of Egypt and Bahrain.
