Premier League matches will be played in the US by 2034, claims the boss of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
His name is Casey Wasserman, and he is the founder of the successful “Wasserman Sports Agency”. Wasserman represents several of the biggest sports profiles in the world, including Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta.
He also expects La Liga to do the same, but at the same time is aware that football supporters may resist, especially after the Super League plans in 2021.

He thinks it would be huge to bring some of the world‘s biggest soccer games to the United States, and he will be extremely surprised if it doesn’t happen.
– If you had a Manchester United – Chelsea game in New York or Real Madrid – Barcelona in Miami, games at that level in American cities – real games that count – that would be huge. I would be shocked if it didn’t happen, says Wasserman.

The NFL has already played several games in Europe. Last season the Super Bowl winners Kansas City Chiefs played against the Miami Dolphins in Germany, and this coming season the Philadelphia Eagles start their season in Brazil.
MLB will also play games outside the US in 2024, with the New York Mets taking on the Philadelphia Phillies in London and the Los Angeles Dodgers in South Korea.
