Corinthians continues without defining its next target for the club’s coaching position. To this end, president Augusto Melo scheduled a meeting with Timão’s main organized supporters to discuss the possibilities.
The information was first given by the “Identidade Corinthiana” portal and then confirmed by Itatiaia. The meeting will be held at Parque São Jorge.
To Itatiaia, members of the Gaviões da Fiel fan organization assure that the meeting will include other topics in addition to the search for a coach. On Sunday (4), after the defeat to Novorizontino, fans protested in the stands against the club president.
The tendency is for Corinthians to advance in the search for a coach this Tuesday (6).
To Itatiaia, coach Cuca, tipped to take over the position left by Mano Menezes, denied having been approached by Corinthians. In 2023, he led Timão for two matches and left the club after strong rejection from fans. The revolt was caused by the coach’s conviction in the case of rape of a minor, in 1987, in Switzerland.
