Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, on Saturday morning on the occasion of the second anniversary of the war in the country. Meloni arrived with the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and with the prime minister of Belgium Alexander De Croo, who is the rotating president of the European Council. Also with them is Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada.
Von der Leyen, Meloni and the other leaders will participate in some commemorative ceremonies, then in the afternoon they will hold a videoconference meeting of the G7, that is, the group of seven of the most important Western countries in the world, to which the other leaders will also join.
