Sporting and Benfica will face each other on the 28th round of the First League on April 6, just four days after discussing the second leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals, this Monday the Portuguese League.
According to updated calendar published by the organizationthe two Lisbon rivals face off on a Saturday, at 8:30 pm, at the José Alvalade Stadium, the day before FC Porto face Vitória de Guimarães at the same time, at the Estádio do Dragão, in Porto.

Liga Portugal indicated the match times between the 27th and 31st rounds, when the ‘reds’ will host Sporting de Braga, on April 27th, at 6:00 pm, at Estádio da Luz.
That date will also bring the elections of FC Porto’s governing bodies at Estádio do Dragão, which hosts the “blue and whites” derby against Sporting the following day, at 8:30 pm.
After the current break for national team matches, the I Liga returns to action with the 27th round on March 29, a Friday, in which Benfica hosts bottom team Desportivo de Chaves, at 6:00 p.m. , and the ‘lions’ visit Estrela da Amadora, at 8:30 pm, the start time of the meeting scheduled for Saturday between Estoril Praia and FC Porto.
One of this weekend’s challenges will be played on Easter Sunday, March 31st, with Vizela, 17th and penultimate placed, hosting Casa Pia at 6:00 pm.
The 29th round opens with Sporting’s duel at Gil Vicente’s home starting at 8:15 pm on April 12th – four days before the Lisbon team set their schedule in Vila Nova de Famalicão, in a delayed match for the 20th. round -, before the ‘dragons’ welcome to Famalicenses, on Saturday, at 6pm, and the ‘eagles’ to Moreirense, on Sunday, at 8:30pm.
Benfica’s visit to Farense concludes the 30th round on April 22 (20:15), the day after Casa Pia-FC Porto (18:00), in Rio Maior, and Sporting-Vitória (20:30) .
